To strengthen kids' grit, so they will have the greatest chance to succeed with their dreams.

Be stubborn with your dream, but be flexible with your method.

Oh man, that's a hard one. Um ... I'm going to say Rise of the Guardian and Polar Express!

My favourite subject in school was art!

Q: Where do you get your ideas from? 
Movies, books and life experience!

Q: What do you do when you hit a writer's block? 
I rarely do. But when I do, I switch my media to illustration or graphic design.

Q: Do you tend to write more in winter or summer?
Equal for all seasons. I have a very strict routine to get a certain amount of work done.

I can confidently say most of the time :)

Q: What is your favorite book of all time? 
This might surprise you, but I don't really have a favorite book. There's a lot of great books!

Q: On average, how long does it take you to write a book? 
Takes about 1 year to write and illustrate one of my books.

Q: What was your favourite toy as a kid?
I was a huge fan of pogs!

Q: What is your favorite book to re-read?
It's been a while, but I would love to go back to the goosebumps series!

Q: How many books have you written? 
I have written 3 books. Book 4 will be coming out sometime in 2023!

Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I can be a night owl, but I prefer to be a morning person.

Q: Do you have a favorite sport?
Yes, I love playing soccer!

Q: Have you ever forgot to save your work on your computer and lost it?
No, but I have my computer crashed on me a couple times (Once on my book 2 cover which I spent almost 20 hours on. Once on my manuscript and lost months of work – that one really hurt!)

Q: How long have you been writing?
Been writing for over 8 years now and illustrating since I could hold a pencil.

Q: I love the cover art and synopses, this sounds like an adventurous book series to share with my grandchildren. Is the series finished now or are there more stories to come?

Q: What inspired you to write?
I have always been an artist (and always will be), but at some point I realized no matter how great the artwork is, it could never tell a full story. So I decided to combine my artistic skills with writing and that part of passion is growing everyday.

Q: Do you get writer's block? 
Very rare I do.

Q: What was your first job?
My very first job was farming. Hard work, but it strengthened my body.

Q: Have you written other genre's of books recently? 
Not yet. I'm sticking to my favourite genre for now.

Oh boy, many years ago lol.

 J.K. Rowling

Yes, I have 3 younger brothers.

No, just need my 6 hours of sleep.
